... And the Scaffolding goes up on the 23rd Street side

There's now scaffolding going up on the 23rd Street side of London Terrace. Bah! The entire building will be surrounded for probably about a year.

[Update]
A memo from General Manager Ellen Gribben Bornet was posted yesterday at the 23rd Street entrances saying that a "sidewalk bridge" would have to be constructed in order to make some needed repairs to the building. Note that us peons on the 24th Street side got no such notice when our "sidewalk bridge" (read: scaffolding) went up weeks ago.

I was walking behind a Rose employee and two prospective renters the other day, and heard the woman telling the couple about all the amenities in the building. I wanted to chime in and say, "Oh and don't forget to tell them about the "sidewalk bridge" aka tunnel of dog piss, out front!"

On the bright side, we'll be able to walk our dogs in the rain without using an umbrella.
