What's Next?

This rant expresses in a nutshell ( actually more like a pod cast) why I don't go to the movies anymore (well, that and the fact that I can't be in the company of the general public any longer than a three-stop subway ride).

Why is it that every movie is a remake of another, older, and yes, better made, acted and directed movie? What isn't taken from another movie is lifted from classic TV series or cartoons. This is exactly why, even though I was a film major in college, the closest I now get to the movies is seeing the appropriately defaced posters for this crap in the subway stations.
