How to prepare for surgery

I've had tennis elbow for seven months now, so I'm having surgery this morning to fix it.

It's not from tennis, of course, it is from writing at the computer. I have a writing injury, how do you like that?

Any way, my primary doctor, while he was signing the clearance forms for the surgery last week, told me to write on my arms which arm was to be operated on. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence, but I guess everyone can make a mistake.
